Plaquenil when allergic to sulfa? Lupus Forums at The. Plaquenil isn't a 'sulfa' drug which means a certain sort of antibiotic, the sulfonamides. Plenty of people who are allergic to those sulfa drugs take Plaquenil without any problem. This sounds all very odd to me!

Scared to start Plaquenil and Quinine - Plaquenil/quinine is an outdated, weak protocol for babesia. i've talked to enough folks who've taken plaqueil to know it does very little to eradicate babesia. look into malarone its cheaper than mepron. you can also check around with places like alldaychemist and such and see if they can get malarone cheaper or even compound it.
